PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect an illegal carry-out of a commodity in a store and to emit an alarm but not to issue an alarm even if a person enters the store where a shoplifting preventing system is introduced, by carrying the commodity with a resonance tag. SOLUTION: A pair of gates are installed on the right and left sides of a store gateway. A radio wave is transmitted from the transmission side gate 1 and the reception side gate 2 receives it. The change of the received radio wave is detected by the gate passage of the tag resonating the radio wave and warning is emitted. Human body detection sensors 3 and 4 are disposed in the reception side gate 2, and the entrance/exit of the person are detected. When the person enters the store, alarming is not issued by a buzzer 5 even if the gate passage of the resonance tag is sensed, and only a display lamp 6 is lighted when the person enters the store.
