PURPOSE: A door opening direction display lamp is provided to display door opening directions in an accurate and clear manner, while minimizing damages upon occurrence of power outage or fire outbreak. CONSTITUTION: A door opening direction display lamp comprises a first control unit(100) mounted in a train car, and which controls train car information providing systems(10) installed in each car by receiving operating information and comparing the received information with pre-stored database; a second control unit(200) mounted within the train car information providing system, and which transmits operating information and control signal transmitted by the first control unit; and a display lamp(300) mounted at left and right sides of the train car information providing system, and which displays door opening directions in accordance with the turn-on signal output from the second control unit.
