GETTER STRUCTURE FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A getter structure for a cathode ray tube is provided to achieve improved quality of a cathode ray tube by simplifying configuration of the getter structure in such a manner as to allow for ease of assembly. CONSTITUTION: A getter structure comprises a gettering(100) filled with an alloy(200) made up of a mixture of nickel, aluminum and barium; a getter support(110) for connecting the gettering to a getter spring(120); a getter cross bar(140) for permitting the gettering to maintain a predetermined gap from a funnel; and a getter cover(130) for preventing mass scattering of the alloy of the gettering to a screen. The getter cover is fixed by a connection member arranged in the outside of the gettering. The connection member is a getter cover support(150) which connects the getter cover and the getter cross bar so as to fix the getter cover to the getter support.
