PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intruded object tracing method and an intruded object supervisory system with high operability capable of firstly tracing an intruded object and secondly properly selecting an intruded object and tracing it even when a plurality of intruded objects exist in a visual field of an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: In the method of detecting an intruded object in the visual field of the imaging apparatus with a template matching on the basis of a template image, when a position is designated in a screen by using a moving operation marker in the screen, the designated position is used for a reference position, an area used for the template image is calculated on the basis of the reference position, and the area is registered again as a new template image to trace the area of an input image. Using the operation marker, the intruded object being a tracing object is selected among the detected intruded objects. |
