PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera or the like in which photographing available numbers are not limited only by a storage capacity of a built-in storage means although a user can easily confirm an image. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with an imaging means 22; an image processing means 23 for processing an output signal from the imaging means 22 to generate digital image data; a communication means 26 for wirelessly transmitting the image data to an external device; a display means 28 for displaying the image; a reduction means 27 for reducing the image data to a degree required to be displayed on the display means 28; and an image storage means 24 for storing the image data. When the residual capacity of the image storage means 24 is deficient to store a succeeding image, the communication means 26 transfers the image data not reduced to the external device and the reduction means 27 reduces the image data and stores the reduced data to the image storage means 24. |
