PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the posture and motion of a hidden part in measuring a three-dimensional motion of a body from an image. SOLUTION: The posture and motion of a body are represented with the posture of each part of an articulated model of the body and a change of the posture, and when a change of the posture is measured from a various density fluctuation ratio between continuous images, a change of a posture of a hidden body part is estimated from a change of a posture of a measurable body part by utilizing dependency between variables representing postures. |
