PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable viewing device by which a viewer can view interrupted part of a program unable to be viewed because the viewer is engaged in making a telephone speech. SOLUTION: The mobile viewing device starts processing of recording coded video/audio data of a program during viewing to an SDRAM 219 when a portable telephone section 231 receives an incoming call and starts making a speech during program viewing processing. When the speech is finished, the portable viewing device reads the coded video/audio data from the SDRAM 219 while continuing video recording processing and reproduces the program by chasing the video image at the point of speech start time. |
