PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible sol-gel electrolyte composition with excellent ion conductivity and gelling capacity, and its use. SOLUTION: This reversible sol-gel electrolyte comprises a reversible gelling agent, electrolyte salt and a solvent for the electrolyte salt, and the reversible gelling agent is composed of an organic compound expressed by the following formula. It is preferable that the organic compound in the DSC measurement has an endothermic peak temperature in a range of 113-117 deg.C or higher and that the organic compound does not have an endothermic peak in a region below 100 deg.C. A battery of high performance can be acquired by using such a reversible sol-gel electrolyte as a solid electrolyte. |
