PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce self consumption of power in a long time in a pack. SOLUTION: The pack comprises: a plurality of batteries 1 connected in series; a charge/discharge control switch 2 that is connected between the plurality of batteries 1 and output terminals, and controls charge and discharge; protective circuits 3-1, 3-2 that detect each battery voltage of the plurality of batteries 1; and a control circuit 5 that conducts communication with an external apparatus and manage-controls signals in the pack including detected signals. The control circuit 5 has a function for switching a mode wherein the current consumption in the pack becomes minimum and an operation mode in a normal use; enables switching to the minimum current consumption in an unused state; and enhances the reduction in failure rate. The protective circuits 3-1, 3-2 are formed of a plurality of protective circuits that detect at least each battery voltage by dividing the plurality of batteries 1 into a plurality of blocks. A level conversion circuit 4 for leveling a voltage reference of the detected signal is provided between the control circuit 5 and the protective circuits, and the plurality of protective circuits are connected in a multi-stage in parallel with the batteries 1. |
