PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging module for enabling uniform exposure over an entire picked-up image. SOLUTION: In an imaging module 110 and an optical shutter control method to be applied to a digital image capturing device 100, the imaging module 110 is provided with an electronic imaging sensor device 117 having a plurality of pixel elements 207. Further, the imaging module 110 is provided with an electronically actuatable shutter device 114, including a plurality of individually addressable and actuatable, shutter elements 204. Each of the shutter elements 204 practically corresponds to at least one of the plurality of pixel elements 207 of the image sensor device 117.
