PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that can surely perform a limit of use and surely perform release of the limit of use. SOLUTION: The mobile phone of this invention includes; a function control unit 7 for receiving a function control signal 3 from a public facility to perform the function limit; and a time control unit 12. The function control signal 3 comprises an operating state limit signal 4 to limit the operating state and a control time signal 5 to control the time of limiting the operating state. The time control unit 12 controls the time to limit the operating state on the basis of the control time signal 5. Since the control time signal 5 is generated independently of the intention of a person carrying the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal can surely release the limit of the operating state.
