PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller having a superior operability. SOLUTION: A tilt sensor 13 and an acceleration sensor 14 detect the movement of a case 11 of the remote controller 1. A controlling section 15 creates an operation instruction signal according to the contents of the movement of the case 1 detected by the tilt sensor 13 and the acceleration sensor 14. A signal transmission section 16 transmits an optical signal wave corresponding to the operation instruction signal.
