PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program, preventing the delay of dot output as the whole image, preventing the generation of a special pattern and a pseudo outline, and having excellent density reproducibility, by adjusting image processing characteristics. SOLUTION: A correction amount adjustment means adjusts a correction amount set by an error correction amount setting means, can obtain the desired image processing characteristics in the image processor, and can easily reproduce the image at device user's desire. For example, when the correction amount adjustment means adjusts the correction amount set by the error correction amount setting means such that the correction amount becomes zero, the image similar to a dither-processed image can be reproduced. When the correction amount adjustment means adjusts the correction amount set by the error correction amount setting means such that the correction amount is not changed, the image similar to an error-spread-processed image can be reproduced. The different image processing characteristics can be changed over with a simple structure, i.e., the adjustment of the correction amount by the correction amount adjustment means.
