PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boosting power source generating circuit which can obtain stable boosting power source VPP. SOLUTION: When a control signal RAS given synchronizing with operation of a load circuit is raised, a boosting power source VPP is supplied to an output node NO from a charge pump 10-3. When the boosting power source VPP is lowered to the prescribed voltage or less by current consumption of the load circuit, an activation signal VPE outputted from a voltage detecting section 21 is made 'H', and given to an oscillation section 22 and an AND 23. Thereby, a signal ACL outputted from the AND 23 is made 'H', and the boosting power source VPP is supplied to the output node NO from a charge pump 10-2. Further, when the boosting power source VPP is lowered to the prescribed voltage at the time of standby at which the load circuit is not operated, the boosting power source VPP for compensating a leak current is supplied to the output node NO from a charge pump 10-1 by operation of the oscillation section 22.
