PURPOSE: Structure for installing a release cover of a vehicle trunk is provided to promptly install a release cover by aligning the screw connecting position without the departure of the release cover from a panel. CONSTITUTION: A boss(10) protruded downward on the connecting portion of a release cover(5) is fitted into an insertion hole of a panel(2). Upon connecting a screw(6), the boss expands outward. If the boss is aligned with the insertion hole of the panel, the installation position of the release cover is not displaced. Since the release cover is completely installed by the thread-connection of a screw in a connecting hole(11) of the boss, the release cover is connected easily.
