PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal inspection method for a grommet and a seal inspection device therefore capable of efficiently inspecting the sealability of the grommet with a structure comparatively compact in size. SOLUTION: The seal inspection device for the grommet 21 comprises: a water storage cup 22 which is liquid-tightly mounted to the external periphery 15 of a wireharness penetration part 20b, an air feed pipe 27 which is formed at the opposite side of the wireharness penetration part 20b with a body 20c of the grommet 20 between, and of which the tip 27a is inserted between a wire-exposed part 28 and the internal periphery of a wire penetration part 20a in which the wire-exposed part 28 of the a wireharness W/H is inserted, a fastening band 40 which is mounted to the external periphery of the wire penetration part 20a and airtightly fastens the wire penetration part 20a together with the air feed pipe 27 and the wire-exposed part 28, and an air compressor 42 which feeds pressurized air into the body 20c of the grommet 20 via the air feed pipe 27. |
