PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolution pulse detector capable of detecting the revolution pulse of an armature accurately without using a large scale sensor, e.g. a rotary encoder, and a DC motor comprising the revolution pulse detector. SOLUTION: The revolution pulse detector 1 in a DC motor comprises at least a pair of brushes 82a, b and an armature 84 arranged with a commutator 83 and windings 85a, b, c. The revolution pulse detector 1 comprises means 9 for detecting revolution pulses 13 based on a current flowing between specified segments 83, b among a plurality of segments 83a, b, c formed in the commutator 83. |
