PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various service information for users' home from outside at a reasonable cost, responding to users' requests so as to dissolve users' feelings that a home system is expensive, and to promote the spread of the home system. SOLUTION: A home controller is connected to an equipment network which connects apparatuses installed in a user's home together so as to enable them to exchange information mutually and an indoor information network which connects information display terminals such as personal computers installed in a user's home, equipped with programs related to the remote supervisory control of the apparatuses for security, energy-saving methods and the like, and exchanges information as to the apparatuses with a service provider that provides service information for a user's home by the use of a structured data description language between the information display terminal and the apparatuses. |
