SOLUTION: A housing information providing server 1 stores a plurality of housing thing information. On receiving a thing retrieval request containing the conditions of a thing from a customer's PC 2a, a thing meeting the conditions of the thing is retrieved from the stored thing information, and when the meeting thing is retrieved, the thing information is presented on the PC 2a. When the customer desires to move into the thing, the customer registers a moving into desire in the housing information server 1 with the PC 2a. From that on, in the case of presenting the thing information on the PC 2b, the number of moving-in desire persons and moving-in desire registration dates. When a moving-in contract for the thing is established, it is reported to the customer desiring to move in by mail.
