PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information delivery system which enables a user to take access information such as a telephone No., URL, an e-mail address, etc., for accessing further information about the contents of the information into a handheld terminal such as a portable telephone, PDA, etc., easily, in case that persons meet with interesting information such as an advertisement, etc. SOLUTION: This information delivery system includes at least one information display means 1 which displays specific information; at least one information delivery unit 2 which is arranged in vicinity to or integrally with the above information display medium and has at least one storage means on transmission side having stored access information relevant to the above specific information, and a local wireless communication means for delivering the above access information taken out of the above storage means; and a handheld terminal 3 which is equipped with a delivery requesting means for requesting the above information delivery unit to deliver the above access information, and a storage means on reception side for storing the delivered access information described above and is arranged within an area where the communication of the above communication means is possible.
