PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the FEM model of a high quality structure to be analyzed which is available for analysis processing by using the FEM model of a prototype structure. SOLUTION: A plurality of corresponding reference points are set for the visible outline of a new type of vehicle and the FEM model of an already existing vehicle, and a mesh model included in the FEM model of the already existing vehicle is changed to the visible outline of the new type of vehicle based on the corresponding relation of those reference points and the mesh model, and attribute information included in the FEM model of the already existing vehicle and the associated state are redefined for the deformed mesh model according to the movement so that the FEM model of the new type of vehicle can be calculated. When the quality of the calculated FEM model of the new type of vehicle is defective, a user is informed of the result (S75, S77), and the FEM model is adjusted automatically or manually as necessary (S76, S78).
