PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a system capable of performing dubbing processing while performing format conversion from a VR-DVD to DVD-ROM video. SOLUTION: A dubbing switching part 308 switches a digital signal from a data decoding part 200 and a digital signal from an AD converting part 301 and provides one signal. A data encoder part 300 encodes digital data from the dubbing switching part 308. An MPU part 100 generates a signal that makes the dubbing switching part 308 switch digital data based on an external input signal and digital data obtained by decoding recorded data according to an instruction from a user.
