PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo headphone driving method and device for driving a stereo headphone connected to a stereo jack having a pair of signal terminal and a common terminal with a low frequency signal, beep tone or the like in audio signals of left and right channels. SOLUTION: Audio signals 10 and 11 of left and right channels are amplified by amplifiers 15 and 16 to a predetermined amplitude and supplied to a pair of signal terminals 21 and 22 of a stereo jack 20. A monaural signal 12 is amplified by a monaural signal amplifier 30 and supplied to a common terminal 23 of the stereo jack 20. The monaural signal may be a low frequency component in audio signals of the left and right channels, beep tone, monaural speech signal or the like received from a controller 53.
