PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote starter for system subdevice by which forgetting of turning on power supply can be prevented when a subdevice is used to send a signal through wireless communication and excessive power consumption be also suppressed as much as possible. SOLUTION: This starter is provided with a main device and a subdevice (video camera unit and transmitter) 1 and 4, and at least the subdevice 4 incorporates a battery and a power supply and it is mobile independently from the main device 1. A system 2 for sending a signal to the main device 1 through wireless communication is provided with a cable transmitter 5 for activating subdevice to output a sonic wave s2 in correspondence with turning on of main power supply of the main device 1. The subdevice 4 is added with a subdevice activating means 7 that receives the sonic wave s2 outputted from the cable transmitter 5 while the main power supply is turned on in advance and turns on the operation power supply of the subdevice 4, and then sets the wireless transmission of a signal s1 to the main device 1 to ON state. Thus, an electric power can be supplied to the subdevice 4 without manual turning on of operation power supply thereof. The sonic wave s2 generates no sound because it is out of audible range.
