PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal equipment capable of setting a logging function for preserving a communication history also in its own equipment. SOLUTION: This communication terminal equipment 1 is connected through a public line 3 to facsimile equipment 2, and a picture is transmitted and received through facsimile communication. Also, this communication terminal equipment 1 is connected through the public line 3 to a PC 4 with a facsimile MODEM functioning as a logging terminal. The communication terminal equipment 1 preliminarily registers the telephone number of the PC 4 for the logging terminal in an RAM, and also registers its own telephone number in order to install a function as the logging terminal also in its own equipment.
