PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise carrying-out device for a vending machine, which deviates the projecting timing of an upper pedal in response to a merchandise diameter and widely and smoothly sells merchandises from the one with a large diameter to the one with a small diameter. SOLUTION: The merchandise discharge device 1 is provided with a lower pedal 5 for holding the lowest merchandise, the upper pedal 4 and a link member 19 which is reciprocatively moved by a solenoid 17 to control the opening/ closing of the respective pedals 4 and 5. Then the merchandises with the different diameters are carried-out without changing the width of a merchandise passage 10 and carrying-out the merchandise is controlled by alternately projecting the respective pedals 4 and 5. The link member 19 connects the upper pedal 4 via a pin 22 for controlling opening/closing and a spring 64 by sliding the slide groove 4d of the upper pedal 4.
