The suspension system, comprising a fixed structure with a pair of bars (9, 10) between front and rear couplings, the rear coupling being in the form of a master component (17) and a pivoted beam (15), has the bars extended beyond the beam and connected to the master component by articulated joints (20, 21). The joints have sufficient clearance to remain inactive until their is a failure in one of the bars or in the rear coupling. In addition, the master component and fixed structure are connected by a vertical stud with a shoulder and top and bottom nuts.
