<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp in which light control of the electrodeless discharge lamp can be made without increasing power loss at the core. SOLUTION: The electrodeless discharge lamp comprises a bulb 1 in which discharge gas is sealed, cores 2a, 2b which impress high frequency electromagnetic field on the bulb 1, a coil wound on the cores 2a, 2b, and a high frequency power source which supplies high frequency power to the bulb 1 through the cores 2a, 2b and the coil 3. The bulb 1 has a plurality of discharge loops 6a, 6b, 6c.</p> |
