<p>The invention relates to a rack steering device, comprising a toothed rack (1) which is arranged in a housing (4) and which is connected on both sides to steerable wheels by means of steering rods (6) and steering levers; also comprising a pinion (2) which is continuously engaged inside the toothed rack (1); said pinion being connected to the steering wheel via the steering column; further comprising integrated stop means (10; 11; 12) which are disposed on both sides between the housing (4) and the axially movable parts of the rack steering device and which limit the axial movement of the toothed rack (1) in both directions of steering. Said stop means (10; 11; 12) are made of an elastically flexible material (12) which is entirely arranged between the non-elastic parts (10; 11) of said stop means (10; 11; 12), which are axially moveable in relation to each other.</p> |
