The rear panel (a) of the backpack, which can be of any suitable design, is made in two layers joined with a surrounding zip fastener (b) and accommodating a folded rain jacket in the space provided between them. The back of the jacket is sewn to the rucksack preventing it from getting lost or to be forgotten. The functions of the rucksack are not affected when the jacket is unfolded. The jacket is completely hidden inside the storage space when not in use and does not interfere with any activities.
