The suspension layout has an integrated steering apparatus assembly that includes steering gear motors (28,30) positioned on each side portion (4,6) of the sub-frame (2). The motors are correspondingly actuated to provide rectilinear motion and the steering transmitting assembly converts the rectilinear motion of the rods of the motor to rotational motion of associated knuckles.
