DATA STORAGE DISC REPRODUCTION APPARATUS

On a disc (1) mounted on a CD reproduction apparatus, a plurality of musical compositions are successively recorded with a track number, i.e., a music number and a TOC containing a start address of each musical composition is recorded. The TOC of the disc (1) contains no end address of each musical composition. The reproduction apparatus has an RAM (14) for storing TOC read from the disc (1) and further has a CPU (12) and a program ROM (13) for editing the TOC. An end address of each musical composition is added to the TOC contained in the RAM (14). By editing the TOC in the RAM (14), it is possible to set a range or a reproduction order of a plurality of musical compositions. Thus, it is possible to obtain a variety of reproduction of the disc (1).
