When an error is detected in a received header, it is assumed that there is an error in the packet reception interval and when reference information is estimated, a header is restored by using at least one value of another candidate sequence number used for correcting an erroneous sequence number according to the time between the moment when a packet is correctly received previously and the moment when the current packet is received and the packet reception terminal. Thus, it is possible to increase the probability to correctly estimate the reference information at the reception side, suppress the number of packets discarded, and suppress the processing amount accompanying the discarding.
|
