A side to side adjustment bearing, comprising a roof (1), a footstock (2), a ball-pivot (3), a pillar-bolt (4), locknuts (5), lockscrews (52), a pillar-bolt base (6) and a baseplate (7), there are four shoulders (771, 772, 773, 774) around the baseplate (7), the flange (64) of said pillar-bolt base (6) is square or rectangular, and four transverse holes (63) are formed at the corners of the flange (64), there is each a wedge-shaped space (8) between the corresponding sides and the shoulders (771, 773), into the wedge-shaped space (8) can insert a wedge (81) and several isopachous plug gauges (82, 83, 84, 85), four screw holes (71) are formed at the positions of the baseplate (7) which be relative to the transverse holes (63) of the flange (64), then said pillar-bolt base (6) is fixed to the baseplate (7) by the bolts (75) passing through the transverse holes (63) and the screw holes (71).
