The invention relates to a drive unit comprising a housing, a drive shaft, an output shaft and a coil-spring. According to the invention, the end of the coil-spring is coupled to the drive shaft and the other end of the coil-spring is coupled to the output shaft in such a way that when the drive shaft is not being operated, the coil-spring is pre-tensioned in a radial direction against the internal surface of a stop member on the housing side and that when the drive shaft is operated, the coil-spring contracts in opposition to the pre-tension and the action on the stop member eases. The invention is characterised in that the internal surface of the stop member extends radially outwards.
