The cellular wheel sluice (1) comprises a top entry (2) for loose goods and a bottom outlet (3) between which is at least one rotor (5) in a rotor-chamber (4). The rotor turns on an axis across the flow of the loose material and has several cellular wheel chambers (6) extending over its periphery. At least one leakage-steam compartment (10) is connected with the rotor chamber and has its walls heated and or the leakage-steam suction connecting parts (11) heated.
