The invention relates to a closing cap and to a method for producing a closing cap. The closing cap is made of plastic and is provided with at least one coat of paint applied to the surface of the top of the cap, whereby the coat of paint consists of a paint that can be removed by a laser, and the coat of paint forms a decoration that can be processed by the laser.
