The fuel injection device has a rev regulator coupled via at least one setting lever (5) with a regulating rod (1) for adjustment of a fuel injection pump element, with a start spring (18) and an auxiliary magnetic coupling (3,3a) between the setting lever and the regulating rod. The coupling magnet can be incorporated in the end of the regulating rod.
