PURPOSE: A device for pivotally supporting an external mirror supporting arm is provided to uniformly use even in the additional deformation for the shape of a guide groove and a control curve and to apply hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder to the lower end of a shaft. CONSTITUTION: In a device(2) for supporting a supporting arm(6) for an external mirror to be pivotally operated for an anchorage(4), a pivot bearing(8) is arranged between the fixing tool and the supporting arm and the supporting arm pivotally moves for the fixing tool around a pivot axis(10) of the pivot bearing by an auxiliary drive combined with the pivot bearing. The auxiliary drive applies external torque, which is changed into pivotal movements by a motor mechanism positioned at the pivot bearing, to the pivot bearing. The angular area of the pivotal movement is limited. |
