The adapter can be attached to a combined drill/driver or power driver by inserting a shaft (10) located at its lower end into the chucks of the power tool. A clamping part assembled of an insertion element (A) and a locking element (B) is joined to the shaft (10) with an inner thread. The hook (16) to be joined to a wall or other surface is positioned with its horizontal segment (15) in a groove (14, 43) leading from the center of the insertion element (A) to the outer edge and is kept in position by rotating the locking element (B) in order to cover the groove (14, 43) from above.
