The clip is held on the door element with a free end section (2), which has been shot into the door element material, and engages into an aperture formed by that process. The section end (21) projecting from the aperture is bent, or folded over, by pressing or heating, to engage on the element. The clip is of metal and/or plastic. The clip section engaging on the cable is elastic and is of a different material from the rest of the clip.
