FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding. SUBSTANCE: invention is used for checking electrodes with rods of metals of all grades. Proposed device consists of housing, electronic unit, gauging mechanism with lever and movable carriage, primary converter and rocker. Lever is installed for engagement with movable carriage to provide its travel. Dial indicator is used to check displacement of primary converter. Proposed device makes it possible to considerably increase accuracy of measuring of concentricity of electrode coating, including unbaked electrodes.
