摘要 In the case of multicomponent metering installations, up until now either only the accuracy of individual metering devices has been tested, or additional calibration containers or test volumes were necessary. The method enables the testing of all metering devices and the automatic carrying out of measures to maintain the metering accuracy of all metering devices without the installation of additional containers. In the method, by means of a program in a metering control unit, a product tank - previously emptied - belonging to the installation is filled by the metering devices with a common operating medium, the content of the product tank is measured with high reproducibility and the result of the content measurement is compared with the result of supervisory measurements of the metering devices. The difference between the two values is the metering error. From the metering errors of individual metering devices, compensation values are automatically calculated with which the metering devices are slightly corrected. The method is suitable for the testing of the metering accuracy and maintenance of a high accuracy in the case of discontinuously and continuously operating multicomponent metering installations.
