METHOD OF BREAK-DOWN OF LOPARITE CONCENTRATE

FIELD: hydrometallurgy of titanium and rare-earth concentrates; break- down of loparite concentrate. SUBSTANCE: method includes hydrochloric acid leaching performed at temperature of 75-99 C, separation of solid residue containing loparite and aegirite from solution and repeated leaching. Novelty of invention consists in performing leaching in reactor communicated with atmosphere through return cooler; leaching is performed with 22-34-% solution of hydrochloric acid. Proposed method ensures decomposition of more than 95% of loparite. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced consumption of acid; reduced power requirements; improved ecological characteristics. 6 ex
