FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: friction disk includes friction linings made from composite material. Friction surfaces of friction disk are linings are provided with grooves located as a rule within working thickness of lining. Linings are fixed on metal framework; alternating holes and recesses are made its contour. Grooves in linings are located in zones of framework recesses. Provision is made for avoidance of possibility of braking disk with grooves at centrifugal loads increasing operational angular velocities due to reduced mass of framework and strengthening reinforcement of linings in zones of grooves.
