SUBSTANCE: crown bit of percussive-rotary drilling has body and working surface with variable edge radius, is made monolithic with single pin and is divided over periphery into working blades having shape of Maltese cross. Its working surface comes in the form of body of revolution with reference to symmetry axis of crown bit.
