The system has a heating body connected to a hot water system or an electrically powered heating body with the condenser (2) of an air to air heat pump beneath the heating body (1) whose evaporator (5) is close by on the external wall (3) of the building. An electronic controller only activates the heat pump when there is a demand for heat.
