The present invention provides a method of and apparatus for manufacturing a biochip in which different probe molecules are deposited on the substrate of the biochip with different concentrations in accordance with a predetermined spatial concentration pattern. The present invention also provides a test apparatus which uses the known concentration patterns to identify reactions of the different types of probe molecules with a test sample.
