<p>The invention relates to a tyre tread which is intended specifically to be used on snow-covered, icy or wet surfaces. According to the invention, the tread consists of relief elements (1) which comprise at least one lateral face. At least one of said relief elements is provided with at least one indentation (4) which is defined along a centre line. Moreover, the inventive tread comprises at least two lateral holes (6) which are oriented along a mean direction and which cut through the relief element, said holes being essentially parallel to the centre line of the indentation. According to the invention, the holes open out onto at least one lateral face of said relief element and at least two lateral holes are disposed on the same side of the centre line of the indentation.</p> |
