The adapter incorporates a setting device for pre-setting the radiator. The setting device consists of a base body (1) which is fixed to the valve by a ringnut (2), and has an outer ring (3) for fixing the thermostat head. The base body transmits the torque of the thermostat head to the valve. The setting screw (4) in the base body has hexagonal internal teeth and can be adjusted from outside.
